El Dorado Transit operates six local bus routes serving the western slope of El Dorado County, Monday through Saturday. The new Cameron Park route makes seven, 90 minute round-trips, Monday through Friday, and two on Saturday. Hourly service on the weekdays and limited Saturday service is also available in Pollock Pines and Diamond Springs. The Folsom Lake College Shuttle now connects students from our other local routes to the El Dorado Center eleven times every weekday. Two (2) buses, one eastbound and one westbound, operate hourly throughout Placerville six days a week while the recently added “Placerville Express” offers passengers a quick, cross-town connection. Passengers can transfer from one route to another in Placerville for easy, economical travel within the County.

Persons who are unable to access the regular bus stops may be eligible for complimentary paratransit services or off-route deviations. To find out more about these special services contact El Dorado Transit at (530) 642-5383.

One-way cash fare on our local fixed routes is $1.10. Seniors (60 and older) and persons with disabilities pay half fare. Monthly passes and scrip tickets are also available from El Dorado Transit.
